There was a mild drama on Monday in Lagos during the 14th Gani Fawehinmi Annual Lecture when protesters booed Mr. Mike Ozekhome, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) who was scheduled to speak. The member representing Takum 1, in the Taraba State House of Assembly, Hon. Hosea Ibi, who was recently abducted by unknown gunmen has been killed by his abductors. lagos—A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has nullified the appointment of an interim board for Emerging Markets Telecommunications Service, EMTS, the fourth largest telecommunications service operator in Nigeria and owners of Etisalat. FUEL scarcity, which makes life unbearable for Nigerians, has been a fixture of life in Nigeria since the country became  a crude oil exporter first, and then importer of refined products later. Interestingly, it was a phenomenon unheard of when the nation was not a leading producer of crude oil. Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation and former Governor of Rivers State, says he has never asked any cultist to kill anyone in order to win election.
